Toromac: Revolutionizing Juice Production with Innovation

Arbo Design's Award-Winning Automatic Juicer Machine

Arbo Design's Toromac, an automatic juicer machine, is a game-changer in the commercial juice production industry. Inspired by the need for high productivity in commercial settings, the Toromac combines robustness, strength, and usability to offer a unique and efficient juicing experience.

The Toromac was designed with commercial establishments in mind, such as restaurants, coffee shops, hotels, and small supermarkets. The machine's design reflects the need for high productivity without the need for excessive labor. Its easy-to-use panel includes a fruit counter, continuous or batch operation, energy saving mode, easy disassembly, and a full trash indicator, making it a versatile addition to any commercial setting.

What sets the Toromac apart from other juicers in the market is its unique system that cuts the fruit vertically and then squeezes the halves by rotary pressure. This method ensures maximum juice extraction without touching or squeezing the shell, delivering a healthier and more flavorful juice. The Toromac is currently the juicer with the best cost-benefit ratio in the Brazilian market, catering to establishments that require high juice production in a short period.

The manufacturing process of the Toromac utilizes metal stamping and plastic injection technologies. The machine is composed of carbon steel, 304 stainless steel rollers, ABS plastic, nylon, armor-plated bearings, and LEDs. Some parts of the product undergo an epoxy painting process. The machine measures 510mm in width, 495mm in depth, and 780mm in height.

The Toromac was designed by Daniel Kroker and Valkiria Pedri Fialkowski of Arbo Design. The design process started in June 2019 and was completed in December 2019 in Brazil. The project involved extensive research, including desk field, focus groups, consumer insights, and trend mappings. The design was consumer-centric, with the aim of bringing innovation and differentiation to the market in Brazil and Latin America.

The Toromac has overcome several challenges, including innovating in the market, exporting to the USA market, and offering the authentic flavor of natural juice. The machine's various sensors for supply, counter, use, and disposal have made it the safest on the market, guaranteeing minimal maintenance. The Toromac was awarded Silver in the A' Hospitality, Restaurant, and Catering Products Design Award in 2020, a testament to its innovative and efficient design.
